On August 5, 2026, the director of the Municipal Scientific Research Institution “Scientific Research Institute for Socio-Economic Development of the City” S. Pavlovskyi spoke via Zoom with Dmytro Teperyk, CEO of the Estonian-Ukrainian initiative Resilient Ukraine.

They discussed the possibility of creating a joint grant consortium to implement projects that will assist to make Kyiv even more resilient to the challenges of war and support its further development as a modern European capital.

They also focused on the experience of Estonia and other Baltic countries in building resilient management systems. It is especially valuable for Kyiv, as it involves proven solutions that help ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical services, effectively manage risks, and quickly respond to crisis situations.

They also discussed how this experience can be adapted to the needs of our city in times of war and on Ukraine’s path to the European Union. I am convinced that it is international partnership, trust, and the exchange of practical solutions that create new opportunities for the development of Kyiv. Together, we can make the capital even stronger, safer, and more resilient to any challenges.
